Temamøde: Complexity — what is it and why should I care?
This talk by organisational cartoonist Virpi Oinonen will tackle the key shift in thinking that is slowly making its way to businesses, government departments and nonprofits around the world.
The talk covers
- The roots of our current mechanistic way of organising work and viewing the world
- Why the concept of complexity is important to everyone in the organisation (not just executives)
- What changes it might bring to how we organise work and make decisions
The talk is based on Virpi’s new cartoon book Reality Strikes Back: A Cartoon Guide to Complexity. She’s been working on it for 8 years, and it’s basically a summary of everything she has learnt from her clients and leading complexity thinkers. Eight years well spent. Probably.
