Microsoft’s release of the Knowledge Agent in SharePoint has created quite a bit of excitement.

Advanced capabilities that previously required specialist expertise or IT intervention have, with the Knowledge Agent, moved closer to business teams and content owners. For example, adding complex Managed Metadata columns to a document library and updating the metadata values automatically.

In parallel, this democratization, raises renewed concerns and questions about governance, consistency, and the role of leaders in guiding how these tools are adopted and scaled. KM and Innovation leaders are right to carefully consider all these aspects, the associated risks, and not to forget, the associated costs.

In this session we will:

• Unpack the key features and review how this is enabled and managed top-down.
• Walk through demo of each of the Knowledge Agent capabilities with plenty of chances here for interaction.
• Review and discuss the benefits and drawbacks at site level.
• Review the tooling from an enterprise perspective, including scaling, governance, cost control.
